This role adheres to the guidelines established by the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA Standards of Care, along with the policies and procedures of Rome Memorial Hospital.
This position entails a 24-hour accountability for all patient care activities, daily operations of the unit, and management of staff responsibilities.
The Nurse Manager plays a crucial role in collaboratively setting objectives and guiding the unit's direction, ensuring alignment with the hospital's mission and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive nursing experience in an acute care setting, with a preference for leadership experience.
