Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct nursing staff to ensure adherence to facility standards.
- Evaluate performance, mentor staff, and support professional growth.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Monitor resident health, initiate interventions, and coordinate ancillary services.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality assurance activities.
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning sessions.
- Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York.
- Experience with geriatric/short-term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
- Progressive nursing experience and supervisory experience preferred.
- 23 years of nursing experience; leadership preferred.
- Clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and policies.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary quality, compassionate care to each resident.
- Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly individuals.
- Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and coworkers.
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
