Position Overview
A Community Employment Support Specialist (Human Services Specialist) is responsible for engaging clients in their journey towards meaningful employment. This role is essential in guiding clients through the process of achieving success and independence in their careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with clients to establish career objectives and assisting them in finding and sustaining fulfilling employment.
- Encouraging client involvement in volunteer and recreational activities to enhance self-advocacy, independent living, and communication skills.
- Building relationships with local businesses to create employment opportunities for clients.
- Providing on-site coaching and support to clients to ensure their success and independence in the workplace.
