Key Responsibilities of a Certified Behavioral Technician

As a Certified Behavioral Technician at The Emerge Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services under the supervision of licensed professionals in our Applied Behavior Analysis department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct client care in both individual and group settings, following treatment plans developed by Licensed Behavior Analysts.
  • Implementing prescribed skill acquisition and behavior modification protocols.
  • Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on client behavior as directed by the Licensed Behavior Analyst.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of therapeutic supervision and billing within a timely manner.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, families, and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Assisting with parent and caregiver training as instructed.
  • Supporting clients during leisure activities and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality in compliance with relevant laws.
