As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and driving business growth. You will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services, including prescription filling, immunizations, and clinical services. You will also be responsible for managing the pharmacy's operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality pharmacy services
- Manage the pharmacy's operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote health and wellness services
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance billing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff
- At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
