**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a key member of our lab department, you will be responsible for evaluating and solving problems related to specimen collection and processing.
**About Us:**
Texas Health Dallas is a renowned Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a Comprehensive Stroke and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. We provide wellness services, outpatient surgery, and women's imaging services. Our hospital is certified by the Joint Commission and has received numerous awards for its exceptional patient care.
**Job Description:**
This is a fast-paced, high-energy position that requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our team to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and solving problems related to specimen collection and processing
- Maintaining specimen integrity throughout the testing process
- Facilitating workflow process and checking outstanding tests list in a timely manner
**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related field and an internship in an approved Medical Technology training program. Additionally, you should have one year of hospital experience and be licensed as a Medical Technologist (MT(ASCP)) or Medical Lab Scientist (MLS(ASCP)).
