About the Role

The Baylor Scott & White Health organization is seeking a Medical Laboratory Specialist to join their team. This position involves performing and monitoring laboratory testing, research, problem resolution, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Performs laboratory tests in compliance with department procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Fulfills quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures.
  • Maintains instruments, performs calibration, and troubleshoots issues.
  • Accurately reports test results.
  • Manages inventory of supplies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of laboratory regulations, protocols, and procedures. Statistical and critical thinking abilities are also essential. You must be able to comprehend and communicate instructions, perform laboratory protocols, and work in a team environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this Medical Laboratory Specialist position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
