Qualifications for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician:

  • Preferred possession of a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter card
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and varying hours as required
  • Proven experience in Fire Sprinkler installation and repair
  • Backflow testing certification in OR/WA is preferred
  • Portland Fire Extinguisher Certification is a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Preferred Portland and Washington Fitter Card
  • Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 13/13D/13R standards
  • A commitment to professional growth and timely certification acquisition

Key Responsibilities for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician:

  • Timely submission of reports and necessary documentation
  • Conduct inspections, servicing, repairs, and minor improvements for Fire Sprinkler systems
  • Perform backflow testing and necessary repairs
  • Service, test, and replace Fire Extinguishers as needed
  • Maintain a standard 40-hour workweek with on-call duties for emergencies
  • Regularly communicate with the Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator regarding project updates and inspections
