Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our Wound Care Center team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients with wound care needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and personal hygiene assistance.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Previous patient care experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is essential. The Wound Care Center is a clean and safe environment, and the Patient Care Technician will be expected to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
