Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in procedures, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data
  • Prepare procedure rooms, monitor par levels of instruments and supplies
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
  • Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Cardiovascular Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Cardiovascular Radiology Tech Texas state license
