Job Description

Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified individual to provide technical and patient support in our Cardiac Cath Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures, operating equipment safely and correctly, and ensuring the procedure room is equipped and ready for each case.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices
  • Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is available
  • Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth procedure execution
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
  • Basic EKG course completion
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
  • State license (if required)
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
