Job Summary

TerraSource is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, processing, and maintaining accounts payable records while managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify approval on all invoices and check requests in compliance with the corporate Authorized Approval Manual guidelines
  • Coding invoices across multiple brands and/or companies
  • Manage high volume of activity in the AP team's email box
  • Effectively manage communication with vendors resolving invoice discrepancies or vendor inquiries
  • Familiar with foreign currency
  • Able to process and enter 300-500 invoices per week
  • Process accounts payable checks, as well as ACH payments
  • Match invoices to remittance and file
  • Reconciles vendor statements
  • Maintains account payable vendor files
  • Open mail and distribute
  • Order office supplies
  • Coordinate office related functions
  • Special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Associates degree (A.S./A.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Accounting; or a minimum of 3-5 year(s) related experience and/or training
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Travel is not required

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, etc. or some other element present making conditions less desirable than usually found in offices.
