The Boeing Company is actively seeking a F-22 Software Configuration Management Engineer to become a vital part of the F-22 program based in Berkeley, MO. This role is integral to the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain configuration control for software team outputs.
  • Develop version description documentation.
  • Facilitate software lockdown meetings to ensure accurate identification of software products in the configuration management database.
  • Generate Change Requests for software deliveries.
  • Manage program documentation within the Configuration Management system.
  • Support the coordination of improvement initiatives and related documentation.
  • Conduct metrics analysis and initial evaluations.
  • Assist in the updates of processes.

Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence at the designated location.

Security and Compliance:

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Capability to secure a U.S. Secret Clearance and program access.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a role demanding technical, analytical, and writing expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current or recent Secret Clearance.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Education and Experience:

Associate Level: Typically requires advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced Level: Typically requires advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is available based on candidate eligibility.

Work Shift: This position is for the first shift.

Assessment Requirement: Candidates will be required to complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.
