Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to youth members, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and resources.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure a cohesive and effective program delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, youth development, social work).
  • Experience working with youth in a program setting, preferably in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to plan and implement activities that promote youth development and engagement.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a TB clearance, drug screen, and fingerprint check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Early Childhood education credits or experience.
  • Knowledge of youth development stages and principles.
  • Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Work Environment:

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
