At Youth Action Project, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Sunrise program site. As a Sunrise Program Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of Youth Leads and supporting AmeriCorps members as they engage students in transformative experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Youth Leads and support AmeriCorps members in delivering high-quality programming to students.
- Develop and implement innovative before-school programming that opens doors to sustainable career paths.
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection from students and mentors, maintaining digital and physical student files with strict confidentiality protocols.
- Build strong partnerships with school personnel, collaborate with campus-based service providers, and engage students and parents in meaningful ways.
- Recruit and retain students, using Youth Action Project's service model to enhance program quality and maximize student impact.
- Participate in and help coordinate Youth Action Project events, ensuring they run smoothly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a school or youth-support setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments, manage projects, delegate tasks, and achieve goals despite challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships through collaboration, with openness, responsiveness, and understanding.
- Skilled at addressing and resolving team conflicts with tact and professionalism.
- Ability to remain composed and focused in high-pressure situations.
