- Procurement Responsibilities: Oversee the purchasing operations associated with both U.S. and international procurement of goods and materials as designated, including supplier selection, order placement, and follow-up. Manage order modifications with suppliers to prevent cost escalations and delivery delays. Address all supplier-related issues concerning quotation discrepancies.
- Supplier Analysis: Evaluate and identify supplier trends to formulate corrective action plans, which may involve seeking alternative vendors. Monitor purchase price variances and resolve any vendor-related issues.
- Customer Coordination: Facilitate purchasing activities between management and customers to address both standard and non-standard requirements.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is mandatory, with a preference for Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum of three years of experience in purchasing is essential, with international purchasing experience preferred.
- APICS certification and familiarity with SAP systems are advantageous.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
