We are seeking a highly skilled Power Management/Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Richardson Electronics. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power management solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop switching power supplies and ultracapacitor-based modules, as well as PCBs using Cadence OrCad/Allegro PCB Designer.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in power management design and development, or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and PCB layout, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
