JOB DESCRIPTION
Transportation Consultant
Shift - 6am-2:30pm. Flexibility in schedule is essential.
Initial training will occur during standard business hours.
- Proficient in generating transit reports from WebShip and extracting shipment data from Red Prairie (WMS).
- Fundamental skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Excel proficiency should include filters, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and various lookup functions.
- Familiarity with navigating transportation provider websites for shipment tracking and report generation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders both domestically and internationally.
- Engage with transportation providers across various regions.
- Understanding of international shipping protocols (knowledge of Incoterms is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with SAP TMS (Transportation Management System) is a plus but not essential (training will be provided). This system is utilized for managing and retrieving information related to outbound shipments.
