Job Title: Wet Process Technician

Yield Engineering Systems (YES) is a leading manufacturer of reliable, high-tech, cost-effective capital equipment that transforms materials and surfaces at the nanoscale. Our state-of-the-art Wet Process Lab in Arizona is fully equipped to develop new processes for the technological advancement of our key customers.

We are seeking a skilled Wet Process Technician to join our team at the YES Arizona Technology Center (YATC). As a key member of our process demonstration activities, you will work closely with our Process Engineers and other teams to ensure the smooth operation of our demo equipment and metrology tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers to develop and demonstrate new processes for customers.
  • Work with Field Service Engineers to prepare for product demos and customer site installations.
  • Define process requirements and expectations with the wet and dry process teams.
  • Coordinate with Process and Manufacturing/Operations teams to maintain lab equipment and metrology tools.
  • Ensure safe and compliant execution of virtual line and process development activities.
  • Perform process demos and customer sample logistics.
  • Repair and modify equipment and process recipes in consultation with Process/Equipment Engineers.
Requirements:
  • High School degree and 5+ years of technical experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor field or capital equipment arena.
  • Good understanding of electro/mechanical aspects of semiconductor equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.
  • Ability to develop action plans for problem resolution and present them to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team to close out assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete assignments effectively in demanding environments.
  • Experience working in semiconductor FABs is preferred.
  • Strong ethical standards, values, and good judgment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel to global customers and partner locations.
