We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at StandardAero. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and improving our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) systems.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal Quality Management and Business units to develop and implement NDT systems.
- Develop and continuously improve NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy.
- Select the method and technique for a specific inspection with a thorough understanding of alternate NDT methods and related repair processes.
- Provide training, examination, and certification of personnel.
- Conduct NDT for the acceptance of components as needed.
- Be accountable for the development of personnel and training programs.
- Ensure that all tooling is correct for the inspections required.
- ASNT Level 3 Certification in a minimum of one of the following: PT, MT.
- Must be able to Certify as Level 3 per NAS 410 in both PT and MT within 6 months of start.
- ~ 10 years working as a Level 3 in an Aerospace setting or equivalent experience.
- ~ Certification or knowledge of other NDT Methods a Plus.
- ~ Basic computer and technical writing skills.
- ~ Working knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems.
