Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a qualified Process / Mechanical Engineer to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Responsibilities:- Conduct construction document reviews as required.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects.
- Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development.
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as mechanical systems and equipment design.
- Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
- Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
- Focused primarily on relief device calculations.
- Must have good client and communication skills to work across various project entities to ensure that all relief device calculations developed for the entire project are aligned with client requirements.
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
