The OpportunityWe're seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Shipping Solutions Team. This team is responsible for building tools that help our customers connect with their suppliers and contractors, and we're looking for someone who can help us drive innovation and growth in this area.
As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you'll work closely with our engineering, business, and operations teams to align on project scope, timelines, and ownership. You'll also work with our engineering teams to validate technical approaches and influence architecture decisions. Your goal will be to lead technical, cross-team projects from initiation through launch and testing, and to ensure that our products maintain a high-quality bar.
We're looking for someone with a strong technical background, a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional software projects, and a deep understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. What You'll Do- Work closely with business partners, engineering, and operations teams to align on project scope, timelines, and ownership.
- Work with engineering teams to validate technical approaches and influence architecture decisions.
- Lead technical, cross-team projects from initiation through launch and testing.
- Prepare written and verbal communication and updates for stakeholders and leadership.
- Mitigate risks and dependencies by simplifying project implementation approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional software projects at a large start-up or another fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and contribute to discussions on architecture and design.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
