Commercial Roofing Superintendent

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems, managing crew personnel, and ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.

• Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activities of the roofing crew, including designating material staging areas and training individuals in roofing system installations.
• Supervise and manage crew personnel, scheduling, and issues to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Ensure that all roofing systems are installed in the safest, highest quality, and most cost-effective manner.
• Monitor and maintain job site cleanliness and daily housekeeping to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Communicate with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a proven track record of success in supervising and managing roofing crews.
• Strong knowledge of safety techniques and procedures, including OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of roofing professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.

• Requires standing up for long periods of time, with frequent walking, climbing, and lifting of materials.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
• Requires ability to work in extreme temperatures, with exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental hazards.

• Requires working in a team environment, with frequent communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
