Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of our Environmental Services team, you will take on the role of Team Leader while also executing the responsibilities of an Environmental Service Worker.

Role Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and training new team members in essential cleaning techniques including floor care, wall washing, and carpet maintenance.
2. Performing daily cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms and other designated areas, which includes:
    - Collecting and disposing of waste
    - Changing bed linens
    - Disinfecting all surfaces
3. Adhering to policies regarding patient isolation and safety protocols.
4. Ensuring that supplies are stocked and readily available in patient areas.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of equipment and storage areas.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Environmental Services is preferred, along with strong customer service skills.
- Leadership experience or the ability to provide direction to others is advantageous.

Skills and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisive judgments.
- The capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with team members and other departments.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires:
- Full body motion including lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Continuous walking and standing on hard surfaces.
