Job Overview

This role includes the examination and testing of various commercial vehicle brake systems to verify compliance with the applicable vehicle code and other legal requirements. In instances of non-compliance, the inspector will escalate the matter to an enforcement officer for further action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections on commercial vehicles to assess compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Test and evaluate brake systems of commercial vehicles to ensure they meet legal requirements.
  • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of compliance status.
  • Collaborate with enforcement officers when violations are identified.

Work Environment

The position involves working in shifts, with options available at various locations. Inspectors may be required to work weekends as part of their assigned schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements
