  • Conducting field investigations and performing engineering analyses to support infrastructure, transportation, and industrial projects.
  • Leading teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Reviewing project drawings and construction activities to ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals while monitoring project budgets and timelines.
  • Addressing design and construction challenges through innovative problem-solving techniques.
  • Evaluating laboratory and field data for inclusion in comprehensive reports.
  • Communicating complex engineering concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and oversight for both routine and complex engineering projects.
  • Develop initial design concepts and investigative approaches for significant project phases.
  • Coordinate engineering work that may involve intricate design requirements and conflicting parameters.
  • Supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations based on advanced investigation techniques.
  • Lead training initiatives and make informed decisions based on the latest technological advancements.
  • Drive marketing and business development efforts within the engineering sector.
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
  2. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
  3. Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Flexibility to work varying schedules and overtime as necessary.
  2. Ability to operate a computer and maintain prolonged periods of sitting.
  3. Possession of a valid driver's license.
