Role Summary

The Estimator / Project Coordinator will be integral in developing our project portfolio. This individual will thoroughly analyze potential projects, ensuring that our bids are not only precise but also competitive and profitable. They will oversee the execution of awarded projects from inception to completion, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and enhancing Triple Tech Welding's reputation in the commercial PEMB sector.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation & Bidding
  • Perform detailed evaluations of blueprints, proposals, and related documents to generate accurate cost and labor estimates.
  • Conduct takeoffs from blueprint drawings, ensuring all project components are accounted for.
  • Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve RFIs and discrepancies in documentation.
  • Actively pursue bidding opportunities, ensuring Triple Tech Welding remains competitive in tenders.
  • Utilize expertise to develop compelling bids, showcasing a history of successful commercial project awards.
  • Prepare comprehensive final proposals for review, outlining scope, costs, timelines, crew requirements, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
Project Coordination
  • Manage the planning, execution, and closure of projects, aligning all activities with company goals.
  • Create project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing efficient solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Client Relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners, emphasizing exceptional customer service.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure all estimations and project documents are well-organized, compliant with industry standards, and accessible for future reference.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and pricing changes to support accurate estimating.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Estimator in conventional steel/PEMB.
  • 3+ years of field experience is advantageous.
  • Experience as a foreman or superintendent is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AISC certifications and standards is essential.
  • Proven track record of awarded projects with a clear correlation between initial estimates and project profitability.
  • Extensive experience with estimating software and a strong understanding of its functionalities.
  • Experience with E-Takeoff is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Tekla or similar industry-standard software is required.
  • Recognized for excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and networking abilities.
