Job Summary:

Oversee, guide, and coordinate staff, materials, and equipment. Accountable for ensuring that the cleaning and maintenance of designated properties are executed in accordance with contractual obligations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records, performance evaluations, and disciplinary documentation
  • Delegate tasks to team members based on job specifications or unique assignments
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to meet Harvard and client standards
  • Provide training for new and existing personnel on effective cleaning methods
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and the use of appropriate equipment
  • Procure and distribute supplies and equipment as needed
  • Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Oversee general maintenance of equipment
  • Manage projects and special tasks as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in the janitorial industry
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license
  • Proficient communication skills in English
  • Ability to compose basic business correspondence
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Engage in professional discussions with clients, team members, and colleagues
  • Utilize standard office technology effectively
  • Conduct face-to-face interactions with individuals or groups at all professional levels
  • Work collaboratively in close quarters with others
  • Adapt to outdoor working conditions across varying weather patterns
  • Perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling
