Aerospace Engineering and Project Management Expert

CSE is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of all fans and low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. The organization identifies and matures new technologies for these products. CSE technical disciplines include project engineering, mechanical design, structural analysis, and product definition.
About the Role:
As a Project Engineer in CSE, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and in-service support of fans and compressors for commercial and military engine models. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project engineering, mechanical design, and development, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying project engineering skills, including detailed task planning and tracking, budget management, and earned value management (EVMS). They will also coordinate with operations and manufacturing teams, integrate technologies into product lines, and participate in investigations and corrective actions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience in process planning, project engineering, design engineering, or structures engineering. You must also be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. government-issued security clearance. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, aerospace design methods and procedures, and continuous improvement tools.
