Job Summary

Prairie Band, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager/Site Superintendent to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and laborers.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
    • Collaborate with project team members to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, timelines, and budgets.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and specifications.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
    • Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Safety and Risk Management
    • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Monitor and report on project risks, including financial, schedule, and quality risks.
  • Financial Management
    • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
    • Monitor project expenses and ensure compliance with project budgets.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including cost overruns and delays.
  • Project Closeout
    • Ensure that all project work is completed to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders.
    • Conduct final project inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
    • Document project lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Experience with construction management software, including project management tools and construction estimating software.
    • Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Certifications
    • OSHA 30-hour training card.
    • First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
