Construction Assistant Superintendent Role

Our client, a leading General Contractor in the commercial sector, is seeking an experienced professional with 1-4 years in the field of construction management, particularly in Commercial and K-12 projects. This position is integral to the success of various project types, including Healthcare, Corporate Offices, Retail, Hospitality, and Educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the project Superintendent to ensure project milestones are met
  • Facilitate project initiation and site mobilization
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and maintain updated project drawings
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
  • Implement quality control measures and enforce safety protocols
  • Maintain organized project documentation and plans
  • Oversee the punch list process
  • Participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically on projects exceeding $10 million
  • Demonstrated stability in previous roles

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000
  • Monthly Vehicle Allowance: $600
  • Performance Incentive: 5% of annual salary
  • Holiday Compensation: One week's gross salary
  • Retirement Plan: 7% employer contribution
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Includes medical, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Paid Time Off: 15 days annually
  • Paid Holidays: 10 days per year
