We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team at UnityPoint Health. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by collecting blood specimens from patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from inpatients and outpatients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Label specimens accurately and adhere to standard work processes.
  • Interact with nursing units and clients to prioritize specimen collection and verify discrepancies.
  • Implement continuous quality improvement processes to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy course (preferred).
