Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide at Bear Mountain Health Care. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold resident laundry
  • Sort and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms
  • Strip, wax, and buff floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with infection control regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in housekeeping, laundry, or a related field (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working every other weekend. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
