Senior Sous Chef Opportunity at Conrad Hotels & Resorts

Conrad Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our stunning hotel in the heart of urban DC. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business growth through innovative culinary concepts and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and administration of all culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals to ensure seamless execution of food production, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement new menu concepts and specials to drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to ensure seamless integration of culinary operations with other hotel departments.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure profitability and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth through innovative culinary concepts and exceptional service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of culinary professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
