Job Summary

KBR is seeking a highly skilled Interface Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining multi-segment interface requirement or control documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review program office, IC2, and Enterprise Ground & Mission Operations segment changes for multi-segment compatibility test

  • Support space to ground compatibility tests

  • Support on-orbit calibration planning, development and execution

  • Attend segment level design reviews and program management reviews to assess design maturity, requirements compliance and to provide informed technical recommendations

  • Identify and assess emerging risks; develop and evaluate proposed burn-down plans

  • Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals

  • Review complex technical design documentation and provide formal and informal feedback to stakeholders

  • Liaise with mission analysis and acquisition teams to ensure completeness across the acquisition

  • Develop productive relationships with prime contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other spacecraft subsystem subject matter experts

  • Advise and mentor personnel regarding space to ground compatibility testing

  • Other Tasks include: providing status updates; process improvements and recommendations; document reviews; witnessing and evaluation of tests and installations; performing requirements verification and tracking; issue assessment

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or significant mission experience

  • Basic understanding of DOD/IC satellite systems and architectures

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in a government/contractor team environment

  • Experience in DOD/IC acquisition and program management processes

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated sustained superior performance

  • Available to travel domestically and internationally

Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly is required to be considered for this position
