Job Title: Configuration Management Specialist

At Arcfield, we are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for establishing and standardizing best practices for engineering and development configurations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement configuration management processes and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage and administer version control systems, including software repositories and configuration management tools.
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines to ensure proper file sharing, access, and documentation control.
  • Collaborate with engineers, systems analysts, and programmers to ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Provide monthly and/or weekly reporting on configuration management activities.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
  • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules and coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers.
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Experience with document management platforms, such as M-Files.
  • Experience with DevOps and configuration management tools and platforms, such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with tools and platforms for development and version control, such as GitHub.
