ProMedica is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at The Toledo Hospital. As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of ProMedica properties, employees, patients, and visitors.
- Investigate and report accidents, safety hazards, and security incidents, preparing detailed reports as necessary.
- Provide customer service and assistance to visitors, guests, employees, and patients, promoting a positive and courteous experience.
- Enforce parking regulations, assist with traffic and pedestrian traffic, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Work in partnership with other departments, law enforcement agencies, social service agencies, and community organizations to create a safe environment for all.
- Associate's degree or two years of college preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of Basic Peace Officers Academy as prescribed by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council is required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, as demonstrated by a MVR (motor vehicle record).
- Ohio Peace Officer's Basic Training Certification.
