Job Summary

Madison Area Technical College is seeking a pool of highly motivated and qualified candidates to teach part-time courses in the Finance program.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and teach curriculum for Finance courses, including Accounting Principles, Intermediate Accounting, and Financial Management.
  • Design and implement effective learning strategies and environments to promote student success.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in college service activities, including department, division, and college-level committees.
  • Collaborate with business and industry partners to establish partnerships and provide experiential learning opportunities for students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of experience in Finance.
  • OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
  • Two years or 4,000 hours of experience in Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Finance courses at the college level.
  • Knowledge of current educational methods and strategies, including learner-centered instruction and assessment.
  • Ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery.
