Finance Instructor

Madison Area Technical College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to teach part-time courses in the Finance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and participating in college service activities.

• Develop and implement effective learning strategies and environments for students in the Finance program.
• Deliver instruction of high quality, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in college service activities, including in-service meetings and staff development training.
• Assist students with academic matters, including advising and counseling.
• Maintain competencies as an instructor, aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with business and industry to establish opportunities for students.

• Master's degree in Finance or MBA in Finance.
• Two years or 4,000 hours of experience in Finance.
• OR
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation OR Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
• Two years or 4,000 hours of experience in Finance.

• Knowledge of current educational methods and strategies, including learner-centered instruction and assessment.
• Ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery.
• Strong communication and human relations skills, with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
