About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Specialist to join our team at MEI Group. As a key member of our Fixed Operations Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit daily records, production performance and close repair orders through production tool
  • Works efficiently and effectively with all workflow systems to ensure all production performance data is accurate.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • The ability to prioritize and meet goals and deadlines
  • Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.
  • Audit all sublet invoices, parts invoices, and credit card statements to ensure they are accurate and resolved per meiGroup Guidelines.
  • Ensure dealer tags are always in compliance with company audit requirements.
  • Maintains an organized workspace and manages current and accurate records per company policy and the government agencies.
  • Maintains GPS production logs for inventory control of GPS devices for ordering and allocation per company process.
  • Ensure the daily process of part cores and part return to vendors are being completed on a regular schedule with assistance of parts leadership and Credits are received.
  • Performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Service Department activities, methods, policies, and procedures
  • Data entry skills
  • Basic knowledge of IDMS, Alldata, Microsoft products preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • Auto or truck parts experience and knowledge of applicable DOT regulations OSHA compliance, and company regulations are preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
  • The ability to lift and carry parts in excess of 60 pounds and be legally eligible to work in the US.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to type with minimum errors
