Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Tax Consultant within the Financial Services sector, you will provide federal tax advisory and compliance services to clients in the banking and finance industries.
  • You will interact directly with clients, lead the tax team, collaborate with specialized professionals as needed, and leverage the firm's robust support system to ensure your success in your role and career.
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships across various federal and state tax advisory/compliance projects, ensuring clients receive timely service and proactive communication.
  • Advising clients on a range of tax issues, including income tax accounting, tax provisions, compliance, and assisting with audits conducted by tax authorities.
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of tax documentation and calculations prepared by team members.
  • Providing training, guidance, and oversight to junior staff and senior accountants.
  • Overseeing consulting projects involving tax analysis for various entities and their subsidiaries.
  • Staying informed on tax-related developments within financial institutions to deliver relevant services and solutions tailored to clients' needs.
  • Leading and participating in various firm initiatives and projects.
  • Our extensive business tax services cater to both public and private organizations, encompassing tax planning, compliance, risk management, government incentives, and tax consulting.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, depending on your work and client requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of one of the following credentials:
  • Licensed CPA or attorney.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax roles.
  • Proven managerial abilities in managing budgets, personnel, and projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven with the capability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
