Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering and plant maintenance functions to ensure the efficient operation of our physical plant and hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment and systems
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with mechanical and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
  • 3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience
  • Ability to transport equipment and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Clean and valid NYS driver license
Preferred Criteria:
  • Experience working with HVAC and BMS in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and visitors
