We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to join our Finance Department at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assisting in the Finance department at the Carlson School of Management.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and assist in the Finance department at the Carlson School of Management.
- Develop and implement curriculum for finance courses.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in finance education.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years teaching experience in a closely related field. Senior Teaching Specialist Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus 6-8 years teaching experience in a closely related industry and/or academic field, of which 4 or more years must be formal teaching. Lecturer Requirements: Terminal degree OR Master's degree plus 5 years of related industry and/or academic experience. Senior Lecturer Requirements: Terminal degree plus 10 years of related industry and/or academic experience OR Master's degree plus 15 years of related industry and/or academic experience.
