Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all associates. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the night warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and that products are stored and handled in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports to management on warehouse operations and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in warehouse supervision required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of associates. Ability to analyze data and reports, and make recommendations for process improvement. Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications: HACCP certification a plus.
Work Environment

The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

Travel

10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training.
