Job Overview

Summary: Hera Technologies, LLC is in search of a dedicated Supervisor to oversee our operations in a dynamic and collaborative setting. The selected individual will be tasked with executing key responsibilities associated with this role, along with additional job-related functions as needed.

Classification: Hourly Nonexempt

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm; occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required. Adjustments to hours may be made at the discretion of management.

Compensation: $27.00 per hour, depending on experience

Reports To: Composites Manager

Location: 100% onsite

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized and labeled inventory, ensuring tracking of shelf-life items with available resources to support this initiative.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to address issues related to material receipt, distribution, and quality.
  • Identify and escalate any operational discrepancies during job closures to management for further direction.
  • Monitor job progress and physical locations in real-time to ensure efficiency.
  • Address scheduling conflicts proactively to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure production supply levels are adequate and communicate restocking needs to purchasing associates.
  • Track and facilitate the movement of parts through production to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Coordinate the physical handling of parts across various departments, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies to support supply planning and production schedules.
  • Develop and maintain reports to communicate needs and constraints for internal and customer use.
  • Support logistics through effective workflow staging as necessary.
  • Manage material certifications to prevent the use of non-compliant materials.
  • Assist production teams with inventory management and work order activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling or expediting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in both oral and written English.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Experience with scanning technologies (RF scanners, handheld devices, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment:
  • Must be prepared to work in an open-air environment with limited temperature control.
  • Physical activity includes standing, walking, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintaining a professional atmosphere where accountability and respect are paramount.
  • Encouraging a culture of inclusivity and support among all team members.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
  • Regularly required to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and walking.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Vision capabilities include near and distant vision, color perception, and depth perception.
Work Authorization and Clearances:
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
