Surgical Technician Full Time Days Call

As a Surgical Technician at Doctors Hospital of Manteca, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in providing a safe and efficient environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and setting up equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgeries, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Pull cases as needed, breaking down equipment and supplies at the end of procedures, and setting up the operating room for the next day.
  • Be available for call on an assigned/scheduled basis, responding to unit needs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Surgical Technician program, as required by state regulation of practice or policy.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician.
  • Required: BLS certification. Preferred: Surgical Technology Certification.

Physical Demands:

The Surgical Technician role requires standing for long periods, lifting equipment, and moving quickly in response to emergencies. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
