About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Risk Analyst to support our enterprise risk management strategy. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in monitoring credit, concentration, and systemic risks within our loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) Process: Analyze and process portfolio, industry, and economic data to support the ACL process.
  • Produce Periodic Reports: Develop and maintain periodic reports on credit, concentration, and systemic risk across our loan portfolio.
  • Monitor Loan Portfolio Activity: Ensure that our commercial loan portfolio is operating within regulatory and bank-established exposure limits.
  • Assist with Risk Assessment Activities: Support risk assessment activities related to new production, modifications, and renewal of existing loans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Related Field
  • Working Knowledge of CECL Accounting Standard
  • 5+ Years of Banking Experience in Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Lending
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Risk Management
  • Ability to Analyze Loan Portfolio Data and Combine with Economic and Industry Data
  • Understanding of Bank Commercial Loan Products and Underwriting
  • Understanding of Loan Risk Rating Systems
  • Understanding of Bank Core Systems, Preferably FIS IBS System
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA
  • Experience with CECL Software Program(s), Preferably ValuCast
  • Experience with Data Analysis & SAP/Crystal Report Writing
