Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the catering team during all event operations
• Prepare banquet areas for scheduled functions
• Serve food and beverages according to established catering protocols
• Set tables accurately for special events
• Manage loading and unloading of event equipment, adhering to safety regulations
• Clean event spaces post-function
• Perform necessary opening and closing tasks
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Organize storage areas and supplies effectively
• Ensure proper maintenance of catering equipment and supplies
• Execute all duties with safety and efficiency
• Comply with all company safety guidelines
• Follow directions from management effectively
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently handling lighter loads
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 6 hours
• Engage in repetitive tasks
• Work with various chemicals and heated equipment
• Safely navigate catering vehicles for transport of supplies
• Cross-train and assist in other dining locations as required
• May supervise staff and ensure sanitation standards are met
• Responsible for opening and closing the facility, addressing staff issues, and ensuring adequate staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role

• Adherence to professional grooming and uniform standards
• TIPS/TEAM Certification is a plus.
