Job Title: Asset Protection Detective

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and apprehend individuals who engage in shoplifting and other dishonest behavior.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other criminal acts committed on company premises.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other stakeholders to prevent and respond to security threats.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and prepare reports to support incident resolution and prevention.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other community partners to enhance security and prevent crime.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
