Heavy Equipment Technician

Branch Civil, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with all relevant safety protocols and regulations, including those set by OSHA and Branch Civil, Inc.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on deployed equipment, including refueling and lubrication as needed.
- Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on heavy equipment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Equipment Operations Foreperson to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Communicate equipment status and readiness to job and equipment operations management teams.
- Schedule maintenance services with job management to minimize production impact.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including paperwork and digital documentation.
- Own and maintain industry-standard basic tools required for heavy equipment maintenance tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with iPad and MS Office.
- CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.

This role may require occasional overnight stays and travel to various job sites. The work environment is typically office-based, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
